"At the end of 12U fall season, I had my son start working with Coach Joe twice a week from November 2021 to present day. Coach Joe has a serious passion for developing youth ballplayers, especially at the catcher position. My son, Wyatt, has improved two fold since starting training with Coach Joe. He worked his way into the starting all-star lineup as our best catcher as a result of the 6 months of hard work Coach Joe and Wyatt have put in together. All of that, I credit to Joe's training regimen using the PT Web resistance trainer, specialized catching drills focusing on the nuances of the position, and his philosophy of working hard every day and not letting a single chance to improve pass you by. Coach Joe has been such a big part of my son's development, Wyatt loves training with him, truly embracing the grind, and seeing the results of his hard work. My son's all-star experience ended sooner than it should have, but he is really excited to get back to working with his coach. My deepest gratitude to Coach Joe for the work he is putting into these young men. Thank you Coach!"

Gratitude and Inspiration -
Gary Riekes
I met Gary during my first year at a new high school. I was a “have not”- undersized, not as fast as the top guys, and not as bright as most. But I was intense and loved to compete. After I made my presence known with some very physical play, Gary approached me with a clear message:I would have to train my body differently to get to where I wanted to go.
At the time Gary trained dudes like me and some very elite athletes at his house. There were about 20 of us. We represented 5 different schools. We went there to work. Gary had us on a mission. Every rep and every set and every growth was measured. He taught us to see growth from work. Growth from commitment and purpose.
I reconnected with Gary a couple of years after college. He founded The Riekes Center for Human Enhancement. An incredible facility with Olympic fitness training equipment, a large turf area, a basketball court, a sprint track, 2 batting cages, a sandpit, etc. along with an incredible arts program, 7 private studios for music, and our door area where kids can learn how to live with nature. Gary created a place where all could grow if they committed and worked. He created a place that taught the essence of what it is to experience the benefits of diving in and getting after it.
I was not an elite athlete, yet I got to train with and compete against many who have made it to the top. Some of my greatest learning opportunities came from partnering with my players. Turning have-nots into top picks. Truly learning what creates the competitive edge.
Why do professional athletes have complete gyms at home?
Why do top performers study every aspect of the game?
Check out what he and the many great people he brought into his world created.
